Ogun Police launch a manhunt to rescue victims and track down the armed group behind the abduction.
Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, said the victims — employees of a Lagos-based property firm — were kidnapped on Friday during a field visit to Oyebola village.
According to the police, the marketers were in the area to inspect land meant for commercial promotion when armed men intercepted and took them away.
CP Ogunlowo stated that officers and tactical teams have already launched a coordinated manhunt to ensure the victims’ safe rescue and to apprehend those responsible.
“We are fully on the case and we will ensure these individuals regain their freedom,” he assured.
